life (zindagi) ... a very simple word. but what does it mean to any person. though we are the same human species we are genetically different from each other...may be this is life. Being different from one another, thinking differently, different appearance, different language, different ascent for same language, different habitat, different clothing......and much more unique to each individual.
but the meaning of life is not being different and it never was as far as i know. for a biology student life may mean the "CELL"... smallest functional and structural unit of life. The microbiologist may call it as an arrangement of proteins. For the ones who culture cells, life may be the precursor of the cells i.e, the stem cells.
life for children can be to eat tasty foods, to drink sweet water, to listen to story, to walk and to run wild.
for me life is just what i see around. i don't feel much, just gather something from around my environment that are perceived by my senses and to assimilate them and to forget it after some time period.
